At Our Lady of Consolation, we believe that if you want to walk with Jesus, wherever you are is a good place to begin! We want to walk with you in faith! 

We all find ourselves at different places in our journeys of faith. Perhaps you are currently wrestling with some challenges in your life. Maybe your heart is a bit restless or perhaps you feel that you have so much to share of God’s love in your life with others. Wherever you maybe we here at Our Lady of Consolation are committed to accompanying you in your journey of faith. Our hope is that you will feel very welcomed and accompanied by our community as you deeply encounter Christ and His love. If visiting this website is your first time with us, I hope that you will be able to pay us a personal visit sometime soon. Join us for Sunday worship or explore the many opportunities for worship, fellowship or service.   

Rooted in African-American Catholic history and tradition, Our Lady of Consolation parish celebrates the Living Word of God, embraces inclusiveness, and inspires social action. We offer as many opportunities for parishioners to come together and grow in faith as possible. If there is anything we can do to help you in your journey of faith, please do not hesitate to contact our clergy, parish office or any of our ministry leaders. Jesus said, “Whatever you do for the least of my brothers or sisters you do for me.” (Mt 25:40). We want to recognize him and make Him known in our loving service and works of mercy. Then we come together to celebrate His presence by listening to His Word and by breaking Bread in our Eucharistic celebrations. This is where we strengthen our heart-to-heart bond with Jesus and each other.
