Drawing on the power of the Holy Eucharist, OLC Faith Formation is grounded in the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our program is here to help our families grow in holiness and faith by teaching Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, relying on the Catechism and being obedient to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. With great devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary we are led to grow through Christ, with Christ, in Christ, in union with the Holy Spirit – sharing the faith, loving, and serving others.
The Golden Wings Ministry is for parishioners who are 50+. This ministry keeps the members aware of political and health issues by having a subject speaker as our guest to provide information. The members share information that may affect our various communities.
OLC has partnered with Carolinas Health Care's Faith Community Health Ministry which promotes better health through education, access to healthcare, and encouragement toward wellness and wholeness. The women of the OLC Ladies Guild grow spiritually by practicing the gifts of hospitality, service and generosity. We show our Christian love and seek to follow the example of Our Lady of Consolation by providing help to our church, comfort in times of hardship, and sorrow; also, together we celebrate joyous occasions. Praying and working together we grow spiritually in the pursuit of getting closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. We become sisters in Christ and with His help will lead others to Him by example.
The Men’s Group at OLC provides leadership, services and outreach to the church and local community through fundraising and guidance of our disadvantage and you.
